This whimsy and doll is easy to make, with a few scraps of paper and of all things...a soap box! Adorn the top with a Frozen Charlotte head and watch her come to life before your eyes.
To begin, wrap the edges of a soap box with masking tape.
Next, adhere patterned papers hodge podge style with Mod Podge Medium. Cover the box with Mod Podge, then add the papers, then cover the papers with Mod Podge to seal.
Hot glue a bit of tinsel garland, lace, or ribbon in a circle shape to top of box.
Tacky Glue (or other strong glue) the bottom of your dolly head to center of box top.
Enjoy!
You can find Frozen Charlotte heads on EBay or Etsy. Just do a Google search for them!

OOOOOH.
Now I know what to do with the doll parts I've been hanging on to FOREVER.
Thank you!
This doll is just adorable. Who would think a soap box...I only use mine for orating! :o)
I am very happy Lori Anderson sent me to this link. Thank you Lori!!!
Lori, thanks for sharing one of Teresa's projects. I've been on her site recently going back and forth between her eCourses....love them all. I've been wanting to try the free-style embroidery for some time, but I think I'll try the chandelier class (if it's not too much sewing!). Collin helped me today looking for a good lampshade...he found one with a great big sculpted bass on the base. He said I could take the lampshade if he could have the fish! :-)
That class looks pretty cool. I just bought two bell shaped lampshades with the idea of hanging them in the studio to hang ATCs and stuff from.
Teresa does such wonderful things. I love the way the body is decorated, although I'm not much into those frozen Charlottes.
Oh, I want to take this class and would love to win it. I've been hoarding some antique buttons and trims for just the right project. Pick me, pick me, please! Lorelei
I have always wondered what the body was! Too cute.

Teresa's e-workshops are the best! I've taken quite a few of them and would LOVE to be the lucky winner of the Salvaged Chandelier workshop.
